Have a hay day for the animals!

It's time for more hay at Ching Farm Rescue! The price of hay has gone up yet again, and we are counting on our amazing supporters to help us meet our goal of $5,000 by Sunday, May 5th.

Your donation will help animals like Ruby. Ruby was one of 20 horses confiscated by Salt Lake Animal Services in 2008. All the horses were badly malnourished and skinny. In fact, Ruby had to be monitored in veterinary care for 5 months before we were allowed to bring her to the sanctuary. Ruby now runs around the Sanctuary in any weather, happy to be in a home where she knows she will always be given the care and attention she deserves.

We cannot support the rescued animals like Ruby at Ching Farm without the generous support of donors like you. Ching Farm Rescue is entirely volunteer-operated, and 100% of the proceeds raised will go directly to feed the animals. Please help us make our hay goal by donating one of the following options:

As an added incentive, anyone who donates $200 or more will receive a Ching Sanctuary photo book and a Ching Sanctuary vegan cookbook. All donors will be recognized at the next Ching event, which is our Day in the Park.

About Ching Farm Rescue & Sanctuary

Farm animals have the same emotional capacity as traditional companions like dogs and cats, yet modern cruelty laws do not apply to them. Under the law, they are seen as mere objects for human use.

At Ching Farm, we fill a need in the Salt Lake area by advocating for farm animals through rescue and education about cruelty-free living. We believe that our advocate work can help change perceptions of farm animals and create a deeper respect for the rich emotional lives of these animals.

Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary was founded by Faith and Mike Ching in Utah in 1998. The farm became incorporated as Ching Farm Rescue as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your donations are tax-deductible.

Please volunteer, donate, or just meet the animals!

Our Wish List

We thought we'd post our wish list, in case any of our supporters want to bring something for our animals. This is a partial list of things we can use today. Our full and continually updated list is here.
