Mr. Nibbles came to us from the Humane Society. Faith was wondering where on earth a Eukatan Hairless came from and started asking around to find out. It turns out that he came from laboratory testing. He had never been outside before so when he was released from the lab he got a blistering sunburn. The people who he had been released to didn't know to apply sun block and he was too young to know to get in the mud.
We have no idea what was done to him at the lab but he has to have a special food. Mr. Nibbles is happy and healthy at the rescue now but it is important to remember that most animals who are tested on do not reach a happy ending. Many die painful deaths or are so maimed that they have to be put down.
