Turkeys
There are lots of turkeys living at Ching. Pictured here are Merlin and Mr. Fancy pants. Merlin is a royal palm turkey, he was owned by private people that needed to find homes for some of the fowl. Mr. Fancy Pants was also owned by private people. His family had been planning on slaughtering him for Thanksgiving. Some of their neighbors had fallen in love with Mr. Fancy Pants and begged them not to eat him. They agreed and he has been living happily at Ching ever since.
