We’re hosting an evening of Yoga & Meditation in our flower filled Peace Garden. Come quiet your mind, take a break, and treat yourself to a time surrounded by the rescued farm animals who have sanctuary here. We’ll start with yoga led by our friend and volunteer, Helani Torres.
Yoga will be followed by meditation—either in the Peace Garden or perhaps with the animals (whatever the group feels like doing). If you only want to attend the meditation because yoga’s not your thing, come at 7:45.
Light refreshments will be served at the end of the evening. Donations accepted but not required.

With an extensive background in fitness, Helani is a certified yoga instructor who found her love for yoga and meditation 6 years ago when she injured her knee and was looking for an alternative treatment. Her free time is spent volunteering at Ching or doing yoga at home with the cats! She teaches anywhere from beginner to advanced classes with fun, challenging sequences or restorative classes.
