Clementine, one of our handsome tom’s, was found strolling down a country road many years ago. A good samaritan discovered him and tried to locate his owner, but didn’t have any luck. They decided to bring him to live with us; ironically, just three short days before Thanksgiving. Clementine didn’t originally identify as a turkey when he first arrived—most likely because he was so young, and didn’t have any other turkeys to model himself after. He now rules the roost in an area we call the “Flight Pens.” He likes to strut around, and does what he can to make sure everyone is kept in order. He’s quite proud of his unique reddish plumage.
